When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Donella was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

His hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Arumawann enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away.

Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She wears grey trousers with white and blue striped suspenders. She wears various colorful collared shirts. She sports a flattop hair cut. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. The war was a terrible time for her, and Ella does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end her boredom.

She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. While she appears to be a normal Tabaxi, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and she has decided she is irredeemable
