History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: She was born in the east. Her parents were killed by brigands in a raid when she was still a young child. The brigands captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Skûn lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His childhood dream was to be a Dilettante, but he was a colossal failure. He has worked as a Interpreter like his father before him.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to reunite with his absent father

History: Criella was born with her mother's beautiful face. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. After a long history of fighting, Criella and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Tarak grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Tarak. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to orcs.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it
