His hair is long and white with streaks of brown, and is pulled back with small black clips. His beard is brown, braided, and well cared for. Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now mingles about in high society.

Ortegar enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Portia was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Priest. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.
