Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He worked as a nervous Merchant and found it very stressful. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Shamil is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and to reunite with her absent mother

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge
