His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Heian has worked very hard to control his curse. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Gifted from a young age, Fonkin studied abroad. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has taken up work as a Sailor and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
