Description: She appears as an extremely gaunt Half-Orc, and stands approximately 5'0". She has the majority of her body covered in plate, and her gloved hand is found clutching a whip. Her red hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Human culture. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Huru lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Orc conditions. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found.

Description: He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. He carries a battered shortspear and tarnished falchion as well. He has done his best to style his red hair to look like a famous performer. His eyes are gray.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. Azdûsh is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the south were limited. He tends to his Engraver job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he seems to be bored by most things

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized grey coat, and is pretty ugly. Her head has been shaved. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with poetry. She constantly tries to fill her life with poetry. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world.

Description: She is lean but muscular and wears a simple black robe with tan stripes complete with hood. She has done her best to style her rusty crest to look like a famous performer. Her gold eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She got into the Layabout business at a young age. A gifted student she started as a Jeweler, but she got bored and became a Layabout. She has worked as a Layabout like her mother before her.

Motivation: Expand her business; and wants to raise her children well

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a robe, a symbol of death around his neck, and a flail on his belt. His hair is white, silky, and of moderate length. His brown unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes goblins are coming to abduct people. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Arnold has worked very hard to control his curse. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it
