Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
