History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Matilda grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born in the north to a Server, Cloud learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He found a children's book about a Tabaxi Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero.
