Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Maynild was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Maynild's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Maynild and her spouse have recently divorced.

Description: 3'3" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: Born to a Shipwright, his father struggled to pay the bills. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Description: She wears a red vest and prefers white and tan shirts. Her boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her hammer, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a dagger on it. She wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide her balding. This green eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to end her boredom

Description: 6'7" and muscular, this western man wears a worn and beaten armor. He has dyed his greying green crest a little too much giving a sharp green color. His eyes are gold and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He has all his life been fascinated with poetry.

History: Rhogar was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Description: This petite short woman is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. She is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and black, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems, marred by beers. She has a very tight haircut. Her eyes are likewise blue.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Cecily will drive conversation. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Cecily grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Cecily. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and to share knowledge with the world
