Description: He wears a red costume with the symbols of magic on his torso. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady hazel eyes.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Altho's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Altho lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Altho fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter.

Description: She is an exceptionally muscular looking northern young adult. She wears a red shirt with thin grey vertical stripes and violet pants. Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. Her red hair is well kept. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 9. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: Her druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a green coat, and a wedding ring on his right hand. He has red hair. His eyes are silver and catlike.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: The child of a Detective, who enjoyed hunting, Paymon was taken on many hunting expeditions. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Paymon alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she is well dressed, constantly wearing a blue suit, brown shirt, and red tie. Her red hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. Her eyes are likewise violet. Her teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. Luthra enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: This slender man stands about 6'3". He is wearing a long, black cloak. He has done his best to style his black crest to look like a famous performer. This gold eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: Quarethon was born the youngest of three triplets. His first spouse was a Guard, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and he would like to get married and retire
