History: Oloric hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is his passion; and he wants revenge against gnolls

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.
