History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In her 13th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Spring was born the youngest of three triplets. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the east. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Assassin. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Egelina was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
