History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Arnold was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He tends to his Spice Merchant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: She is a Gardener first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Gardener. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and further expansion of business

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he loathes his own lifestyle
