History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Adelard's homeland. Adelard decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Ahvain was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Guard. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and to end his boredom
