The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Carlin lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her first spouse was a Bowyer, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody.
