History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Butcher they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Map Maker, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Bellfounder. She's also a talented Assassin, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. A gifted student he started as a Brewer, but he got bored and became a Roofer. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
