History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting goblins, the young Beast began to lead the lost caravan. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Tiefling artifacts is his passion; and many goblins want him driven away

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. After coming to the age of reason, Hlin took it upon herself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his spear with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His brown fur is greasy and uncared for. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep green.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He struck the Mason job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and doesn't want to be a mason and was forced into it by his family

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and she has money and likes to spend it

Description: 6'9" and muscular, this western man wears just a black suit. His white hair is singed and shortened. He has white eyes and a black hat with a grey feather.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.
