History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Virra was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Spear lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
