History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Lia was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Lia's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Born in the west to a Mayor, Varis learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Her childhood dream was to be a Sculptor, but she was a colossal failure. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.
