Description: She is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. She carries with her a set of flails, each one with a opal on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. She has slicked back silver hair. Her ears are large.

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Mary was born on a far northern mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Miner. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mary fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: She is an exceptionally muscular looking southern young adult. She wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. Her silver hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her green eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

She wears a feathered hat to cover her moderate length auburn hair. She has gray eyes and a black hat with a white feather.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She got into the Miner business at a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and her religion dominates her actions

Description: He wears red painted combat armor at almost all times. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. He has a chestnut handlebar mustache and slicked back chestnut hair. His gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Elven culture. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
