Personality: Duergath is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

Description: This woman stands a little under 5'6" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She wears brown trousers with yellow and blue striped suspenders. She wears various colorful collared shirts. Her auburn hair is knotted and matted. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She never wears the same outfit twice, unless she absolutely has to.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Scribe. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories she has discovered

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Unemployed work with an outfit from a few towns over. Unemployed work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She's also a talented Map Maker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and she has money and likes to spend it

Description: A 6'2" eastern man, he wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his club with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His chestnut hair is still thick. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Kothûg grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Kothûg. Being a Soapmaker kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's in love; and wants a kiss
