Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Kadana was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above herself and to hold her god always in her heart. After a long history of fighting, Kadana and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: The child of a Detective, who enjoyed hunting, Gerald was taken on many hunting expeditions. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and a deep hatred of brigands

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Pyxrin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
