History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Phelaia grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Performer they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Courier, and she later adopted a second daughter.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
