Personality: She is happy with her job as a Tanner. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. A true patriot, Left-Handed would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Tanner. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 13 years.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's also a talented Bricklayer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Eloise lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has never given up on her music dream.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion
