History: Shamash was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He found a children's book about a Dragonborn Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Verna hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. A freak accident while working with her Animal Trainer father left her crippled. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Animal Trainer. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

When Tomi reached his early adolescence his Halfling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel.
