Personality: Markosian hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her mother worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled mother and took her mother's old job. She was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside her partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and doesn't want to be a detective and was forced into it by her family
