Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears light armors faded through time and improper care, and is pretty ugly. She keeps her long white crest kept up in a rat tail. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes brigands are coming to abduct people. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Hillanot alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She struck the Ploughman job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world.

Description: She wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. She carries with her a set of scythes, each one with a amber on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Oriff's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Oriff fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the south; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears white robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a lance, but if one is not available he will default to his glaive, and is pretty ugly. His blonde hair is matted, messy, and big. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are violet.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. After coming to the age of reason, Quilla took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. Being a Actor kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
