History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Kansif was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing writing.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Elama was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.
