History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Volen was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Bune was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Bune alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in the south to a Beggar, Nalaed learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Beggar work with an outfit from a few towns over. Beggar work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
