Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Rurik was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Delg was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Bellfounder. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was granted arcane powers by her dying brother.

He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
