Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Through the years after Barendd was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Barendd's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His brown hair is knotted and matted. His eyes are black and beady.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Damakos fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. He has done his best to style his white hair to look like a famous performer. His gold eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants; and doesn't want to be a detective and was forced into it by his family

Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She has all her life been fascinated with music.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. She found a children's book about a Halfling Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she is wracked by social anxiety
