History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Vicky was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. After months of barely getting by, Zook managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Altho grew up listening to his father's many stories. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Barber they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Guard, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Guard and was forced into it by his family; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
