History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Galiena lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Galiena was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Galiena's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle.

Cartwright work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
