Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Frederick was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people.

Voice: growls and snarls, animalistic

Description: He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. His white hair is braided into rings. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines gray.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Delebean is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Carter and was forced into it by his family.

Description: This petite short woman is perpetually holding a chocolate of some kind. She wears tattered old clothes, marred by chocolates. Her head has been shaved. She wears a mask on her face.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. The war was a terrible time for her, and Breena does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Breena hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Her parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when she was still a young child. The gnolls captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it; and she wants revenge against gnolls

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.
