History: Cloud hails from a village terrorized by giants. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Slave Trader work with an outfit from a few towns over. Slave Trader work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Cloud was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Description: A thin woman, she clearly needs to put on some weight, but she still has a lot of muscle. She is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. Her fur is black and very short. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep copper.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and she has money and likes to spend it

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking northern young adult. He wears a worn and beaten armor. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His head has been shaved. His gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: She stands about 5'0" and tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. Her right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. Her hair is long and silver with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small white clips. She has several tiny opal earrings on each ear.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Bricklayer for hire.

History: Gimgen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
