History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Merla alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: Damakos was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. A gifted student she started as a Architect, but she got bored and became a Navigator. She's also a talented Architect, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Navigator responsibilities is difficult; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Healer who has hired him part-time. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He wants to get laid; and his religion dominates his actions
