History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: Emerald wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Aristocrat, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Blacksmith and was forced into it by her family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

Description: Her right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise she appears quite healthy. She wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath her coat. Her hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. She has green eyes and a red hat with a black feather.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She wants revenge against dire rats; and she is content

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears baggy grey pantaloons and a yellow scarf, and is pretty ugly. His chestnut hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a card scrunchie. His eyes are hazel and beady.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Marshal hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and regain custody of his son

Description: This woman is very fat, and wears a brown shirt with thin pastel vertical stripes and brown pants. Her wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are brown.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hadwisa fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her.
