The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She bought a hammer and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids.

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she wears just a black suit. Her hair, while still mostly golden, has prominent grey streaks. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 87. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She takes great joy in being the best Masseuse in town.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. While she appears to be a normal Half-Orc, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Revenge; and many giants want her driven away

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it
