History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. History: Gifted from a young age, Heather studied abroad. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sage. He's also a talented Ruler, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
