History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Jeweler. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: He was born into a rich family. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He now mingles about in high society.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture.
