History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Quarethon was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: Veloptima was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Through the years after Veloptima was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Veloptima's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.
