Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Nurkara was born on a far northern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Apothecary. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many brigands want her driven away; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it
