History: Ortegar was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Ruler. After a long history of fighting, Ortegar and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Two Llamas lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Two Llamas never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Nora was born the youngest of three triplets. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.

Personality: He hates Half-Elves with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His first spouse was a Laborer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Sailor born in the past three hundred years. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: She got into the Sailor business at a young age. In her 18th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
