History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Soapmaker. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Brewer arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She worked as a nervous Brewer and found it very stressful. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.
