Description: Her skin has the orange glow of too much sun. She wears a yellow coat over a blue low-cut shirt, and a deerstalker hat upon her head. She wears her auburn hair down. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her hazel eyes.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. The war was a terrible time for her, and Bethrynna does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Bethrynna lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment, and a wedding ring on his left hand. His crest is short and bronze. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. After a long history of fighting, Patrin and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and to reunite with his absent mother

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He wears silk and lounges about seductively. He has styled his brown hair well, parting it to the left. His blue eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: Theren is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He married young, but lost his spouse to giants. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Theren was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Description: This woman stands a little under 3'5" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. Her black hair is matted, messy, and big. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Gnomes.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to be a locksmith again

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Dwarves. His skin is light but he possesses many black ritualistic tattoos. He wears a worn and beaten armor. His long black hair reaches down to his waist. His hazel eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Alberich is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and revenge
