History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Her necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature falchion.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Damien grew up listening to his father's many stories. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Dilettante. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her childhood dream was to be a Soapmaker, but she was a colossal failure. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To unite with her sister; and to be a soapmaker again
