She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: Raiann was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Clerebold was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mayor. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 7. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: She wears silk and lounges about seductively. She carries with her a set of pickaxes, each one with a sapphire on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her long blonde hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her brown eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Gifted from a young age, Emeny studied abroad. Her parents enrolled her in a Bard school at a young age so that she could practice her psionic talents. She was granted psionic powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
