History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Valafar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. He has black hair. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. Ralf enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: The child of a Unemployed, who enjoyed hunting, Ralf was taken on many hunting expeditions. A freak accident while working with his Unemployed mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To protect his home; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Seebo fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and regain custody of his daughter

Description: He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with broad hat. He is portly but not overly obese. Sporting a white mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Oren was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Through the years after Oren was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Oren's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Oren and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: She sports black clothing, slightly heavier than average wear, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 6'5" when asserting herself. Her scarlet crest is knotted and matted. Her half smiles and red eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Bricklayer arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Bricklayer for hire.

Motivation: She is greedy; and wants to open a new tavern
