History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Tomi was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 72. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Torgga lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Sage they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Engraver, and she later adopted a second daughter.

History: Kali was born the youngest of three triplets. After coming to the age of reason, Kali took it upon herself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
