History: Surina was born with her father's beautiful face. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Surina was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. Kipper is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Kipper was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
